The objective of this work was to develop a critical and academic review, based on the analysis of a scientific article and its theoretical framework, available in the Scopus database published in the prestigious journal Personality and Individual Differences, belonging to the A1 stratum of CAPES/MEC in Administration, in the four-year period 2021-2024. The work reviewed by Leader expressed humility: A meta-analysis and an agenda for future research, by authors Anthony Silard, Chao Miao, Arménio Rego, Eren Akkan, David Yoon, and Shanshan Kian. The central theme focuses on the debate about the organizational application of leadership and the humble leadership style when considering the moderating elements of individualism-collectivism and religiosity. The main consideration of the work was the reaffirmation of the positive role of humble leadership in the attitudes and behaviors of leaders, both at the individual and group levels. The result of the study reinforces the importance of developing social behaviors associated with humility, as these positively influence leadership and facilitate the creation of emotional bonds with individuals. This initiative is an outreach activity of the LAB.LID Project of the DEGECAR Extension Program (UFRRJ).
