Abstract

Learning styles are a long-lasting and stable state that derives consistent configurations of transactions between the individual and his environment, and can be used as motivationalfactors. Kolb(1984) Based on the author's inventory, this study aims to raise the learning styles of higher education students of fatec Zona Leste courses, to enable the practice of developing lesson plans based on the needs of learning approach focusing on the profile that each student presents. Therefore, being able to define more assertively, the practice of active methodologies for each class, making the dynamics of the class and the relationship between teacher and student much more dynamic and productive. Through a questionnaire containing 12 likert questions, based on the Kolb Inventory (1984) that defines four learning styles: Accommodating, Diverging, Converging and Assimilating, data collection was performed to identify the style of a total of 1103 respondents. Through the results of these data, it is possible to make lesson plans based on the predominance of the learning style profile presented by course. This study gains strength and importance at this time when teachers are in distance classes, without the possibility of perceiving and analyzing
