ESTUDO EXPLORATÓRIO SOBRE BENEFÍCIOS E DIFICULDADES DE SER UM MICROEMPREENDEDOR INDIVIDUAL

This research presents a study on the Individual Microentrepreneur in the city of Campinas-SP aiming to identify the main difficulties encountered by this audience in the business management and having as premises: planning, knowledge of the market in which they operate, the operational daily aspects of the business, the financial management and the point of sale. This is an exploratory and qualitative study in which fifty Individual Microentrepreneurs of the clothing retail segment were surveyed. The main results show that some are the benefits, such as credit facilities, and that they must deal with many difficulties, being the lack of planning the main one as well as the absence of a sales team. The formalization may have good points, but the difficulties presented don’t guarantee the longevity of the business. The paper contributes to both the practice and the theory, being a recent theme and without empirical convergence of the discoveries.
