PANORAMA DOS PROGRAMAS SUL-AMERICANOS DE ACELERAÇÃO DE START-UPS

This paper were analyze the South American business acceleration programs for start-ups, with the objective of evaluating the evolution of this phenomenon in the countries that make up this economic block. Acceleration programs seek to serve entrepreneurs in the early stages of development by providing basic services such as coworking space, mentoring, financing and entrepreneurship training as a way to foment the local innovation ecosystem for employment and income. There was an increase in the number of programs and start-ups in these countries? Moreover, there similarities between programs in terms of the scope of action and possible contributions to local entrepreneurial ecosystems? Using secondary data, the study found that there was a significant growth in the number of acceleration programs performed and start-ups served. Moreover, there is a reconfiguration of this ecosystem, especially with the rise of countries that had public policies to promote acceleration programs.
