ALOCAÇÃO DE RECURSOS NA GESTÃO PÚBLICA: ANÁLISE BIBLIOMÉTRICA NO DESENVOLVIMENTO E ESCOPO DA PESQUISA

A limitação da compreensão sobre as funções e aplicabilidades de diferentes alocações de recursos no setor público tem se tornado um dos importantes fatores relacionados ao desempenho de organizações governamentais. Embora haja trabalhos pontuais sobre essas alocações, ainda não está claro como tem sido até o momento a composição e comportamento temporal desta temática na literatura.
A partir desta visão, o objetivo deste trabalho foi realizar uma exploração do estado da arte no domínio da alocação de recursos no setor público. Para visualizar e mapear os desenvolvimentos e desafios deste estado da pesquisa, foi realizada uma análise bibliométrica utilizando a base de dados Web of Science (WoS) Coleção Principal (Clarivate Analytics) no período de 1945 a 2021. Os resultados evidenciaram que, em comparação com outros temas de pesquisa, existe escassa literatura sobre alocação de recursos no setor público. Este trabalho auxiliará formuladores de políticas, reguladores, decisores e pesquisadores acadêmicos a conhecer detalhes da alocação de recursos na gestão público, contribuindo para identificação de lacunas relevantes que precisam de investigação e, também, como um todo, deverá ser um recurso útil para obter insights sobre o uso de técnicas e procedimentos disponíveis para a realização de pesquisas usando análise bibliométrica.
