Abstract

This article presents a multidimensional analysis of employability and the entrepreneurial profile of students and graduates from the State Center for Technological Education Paula Souza (CPS), integrating results from two previous projects: an exploratory study on the factors influencing employability and a theoretical and methodological investigation into entrepreneurial education in technical and technological teaching. The objective was to identify how the education provided by CPS impacts professional insertion, continuity of studies, and the development of entrepreneurial skills. The research combined a systematic literature review, bibliometric analysis, and the application of a validated questionnaire to a sample of 1,756 students from 11 Fatecs. The results revealed distinct profiles of employability and entrepreneurial intention, showing that although there is institutional recognition regarding the encouragement of entrepreneurship and a positive perception of management knowledge, the conversion of intention into entrepreneurial action remains limited. The analysis also indicated that competencies associated with employability foster entrepreneurial behaviors. The study contributes an integrated evaluation model that can guide educational policies and pedagogical practices aimed at strengthening employability and the entrepreneurial culture in vocational education. As a future development, it proposes expanding the application of the model and questionnaire to graduates of all Etec and Fatec programs, as well as to companies, in order to consolidate a comparative and internationalized approach to the analysis of entrepreneurial education and employability.
