OTIMIZAÇÃO LINEAR COMO APOIO À LOGÍSTICA DE DISTRIBUIÇÃO

Abstract

The aim of this study was to demonstrate the ability to optimize the process of delivery of the goods of an enterprise reseller of pipes and fittings, located in a municipality of greater São Paulo. Through research it was possible to analyze some important factors as the possibility of elaborate planning and deployment, reducing costs in transportation, increasing the level of service and greater care of the demands required in cases of deliveries. The tool used was the network diagram, because through this we have a clearer vision and objective of the situation under study, with its features such as shipping costs from different backgrounds for different destinations, capacities of the units of the company and the demands of different clients. The study enabled the creation and analysis of systemic planning process through the network diagram, since the carriage of the goods until delivery to customers who are located in different sites, based on the average costs of transport and distribution. In this way, was noted a significant savings in transportation costs at the same time they were met the demands more efficiently, optimizing all appeals.
