LOGISTICAL ACTIVITIES:
CASE STUDY IN A COMPANY X OF THE FOOD DISTRIBUTION SEGMENT LOCATED IN THE EAST REGION OF THE CITY OF SÃO PAULO

In general terms, logistics has the purpose of providing the right service, in the right place and right and under the conditions hired and desired. This article aims to analyze and observe the logistics sector of a company X in the food distribution segment. For a better understanding of the subject, a survey was made with people who work in companies located in the eastern region of the city of São Paulo, in order to know the logistic sector of these companies. The methodological procedures used to elaborate this article were: bibliographic research, qualitative and quantitative research. After analyze and observe all the reports collected, it is evident the need for a better qualification and professionalisation of the logistics segment in the companies of the eastern zone, showing the importance and the possible improvements that an adequate management in logistics can bring to the company.
