AVALIAÇÃO EXERGOAMBIENTAL DE TECNOLOGIAS DE RECUPERAÇÃO DE LÍQUIDOS DE GÁS NATURAL: TENDÊNCIAS, DESAFIOS E PERSPECTIVAS FUTURAS

Alinhada à transição energética, a recuperação de líquidos de gás natural (LGN) aumenta a rentabilidade do setor, mas as rotas criogênicas tradicionais sofrem com a intensidade energética e irreversibilidades termodinâmicas. Para mitigar os custos e as emissões indiretas associadas, a análise exergoambiental surge como uma ferramenta diagnóstica essencial. Este estudo avaliou sistematicamente as tendências e lacunas científicas dessa abordagem aplicada ao processamento de LGN. Empregou-se o método ProKnow-C integrado à bibliometria computacional (pacote Bibliometrix em R) para mapear as bases Scopus e Web of Science no horizonte de 2021 a 2026. O portfólio de 1.063 documentos analisado revelou um crescimento de 72,4% nas publicações anuais (2022–2025). Constatou-se o domínio de tecnologias com turboexpansores para eficiência e o uso de Metildietanolamina (MDEA) para captura de CO2, além de uma transição metodológica para indicadores multidimensionais (4E e 5E). Contudo, detectou-se uma escassez de estudos comparativos padronizados e de integração com a cadeia do hidrogênio. Conclui-se que a avaliação exergoambiental evoluiu de um indicador acadêmico para uma ferramenta de tomada de decisão no projeto de plantas industriais
