Resumo

A gestão eficiente das cadeias de suprimentos, incluindo inovação, colaboração, integração e sustentabilidade, é essencial para o sucesso nos negócios. A complexidade das cadeias globalizadas afeta a percepção dos riscos de sustentabilidade. Entendendo as dimensões horizontal, vertical e espacial, empresas podem implementar estratégias para gerenciar a complexidade e mitigar riscos, otimizando suas operações. O estudo destaca a importância do gerenciamento de riscos de sustentabilidade nas cadeias globais, com a percepção variando conforme tamanho e posição das empresas. A complexidade pode intensificar riscos, tornando o monitoramento e a gestão mais desafiadores. Empresas devem adotar estratégias proativas para enfrentar esses riscos e gerenciar eficientemente a complexidade. A pesquisa aborda riscos de sustentabilidade considerando tamanho, posição e complexidade das cadeias. Empresas maiores apresentam maior percepção e exposição. A complexidade exige abordagens proativas e estratégias eficazes. Compreender a complexidade auxilia na gestão de riscos e identificação de oportunidades sustentáveis. A proposta está alinhada à literatura e oferece orientações valiosas. Futuros estudos devem explorar modelos de análise de risco em diversos setores e regiões, considerando outras dimensões e estratégias. A gestão de riscos de sustentabilidade é vital para continuidade dos negócios e reputação.
